Every autumn, in cooperation with Faculty of Medicine teaching staff, we ensure that the library has a wide selection of study literature, and update the catalogue of textbooks as required. References in the catalogue cover the prescribed syllabuses for Medicine and Dental Medicine; supplementary study literature in printed and electronic form is also included. Basic and supplementary study literature may be in printed or electronic form. Electronic literature is accessible from the faculty network or remotely.

The online catalogue of textbooks covers only the most recent editions of study material. Because there are not usually enough copies to go round, we also lend older editions of the material. The catalogue does not contain those faculty subjects for which the CMK does not have adequate resources.

Some of the basic literature is accessible only in the faculty's online classroom.

The catalogue of textbooks enables simple searches to be made for the appropriate literature. It is arranged by title of faculty subject, with the resources listed alphabetically under each subject.

All textbooks also appear in the CMK catalogue and are accessible in COBISS. Searches can be made by faculty syllabus or keyword.
