Academic Council

 

The Faculty of Medicine’s Academic Council is made up of higher education teachers, assistants, scientists, students, and professional, administrative and technical staff.

The Council is responsible for:

• discussing reports produced by the Dean on the faculty’s work;
• adopting proposals and initiatives to be addressed by the Senate and other faculty bodies;
• electing members of the Senate by secret ballot.

The Academic Council comprises 132 representatives of teaching , research and faculty staff, 26 student representatives, and 26 representatives of administrative and technical staff.
