The 18th CFGBC Scientific Symposium

We are pleased to invite you to the 18th CFGBC Scientific Symposium, taking place on the 1st of June 2023 at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Medicine. The symposium will take place from 10:00 to 16:00 in the large lecture hall of the Faculty of Medicine at Korytkova 2 in Ljubljana. 

Researchers and members of the CFGBC consortium will present their latest work in lectures and posters. As every year, the topics will be very diverse, from bees to humans and their microbiome, and different omics approaches will be presented. Admission is free, and the official language of the symposium is English.

Two researchers from abroad will also present their work. Dr. Marek Mutwil from the University of Singapore will present computational biology approaches for complex studies of transcriptome regulation in plants. Dr. Jose Manuel Franco Zorrilla from CSIC in Spain will present bioinformatics and experimental approaches for studying how transcription factors function. We invite you to present your work in the form of a poster at the symposium and submit an abstract by 17th May 2023. Otherwise, you are all welcome to register before the start of the symposium via the website.
