4. INTERACADEMIC SCIENTIFIC SYMPOSIUM »Emerging zoonoses – continuous challenge«

The Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts and the Institute of Microbiology and Immunology of the Faculties of Medicine invite you to the traditional interacademic scientific symposium on zoonoses, which will be held on October 6 and 7 in the Central Lecture Hall of the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana ().

Zoonoses are infectious diseases transmitted from infected or diseased animals to humans. They continue to be, and increasingly so, a growing and unsolved mystery, representing the shadow in which many infectious diseases lurk. With invited domestic and foreign scientists/experts from the interdisciplinary field, we aim to shed light on dangerous diseases originating from the natural environment during the scientific symposium.

The symposium will be held in English and in a hybrid format (live and online). To register for the symposium, please complete the form (APPLICATION FORM) by September 28, 2022.
