One-day conference with international participation "Brain tumors: From bench to clinic".
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the international conference “Brain tumors: From bench to clinic” which will be held at the 26th of November 2019 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The conference is organized by the Medical Center of Molecular Biology, Institute of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana and the National Institute of Biology. The event will take place at the University Clinical Centre, Zaloška street 7 in Ljubljana.
The conference is organized in the scope of the Interreg TRANS-GLIOMA “New glioblastoma therapies via a translational cross border research platform” project. The main goal of the project is promoting transfer of innovative medical techniques in the oncology field, with focus on glioblastoma, and increasing cooperation among research institutions, clinics, universities and companies.
At the conference, we will discuss current challenges in disease diagnosis and management, as well as state-of-the-art research technologies. Lectures will be held by internationally recognized scientists and physicians working in the field of brain tumors. Discussions will be strongly encouraged. The conference is also a unique opportunity for students to present their work in the form of posters.
