Studying and Study exchange at UL Faculty of Medicine - Informative days 2019
University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Medicine is providing Single-cycle Master's degree programmes of Medicine and Dental medicine. Studies last six years (12 semesters) and consist of a total of 360 credit points. After completed the studies, our graduates obtain the title »Doktor medicine« or »Doktor dentalne medicine«.
UL Faculty of Medicine is also taking part in Master´s Programme in Applied Statistics and in Interdisciplinary Master level studies of Cognitive Science, and as well Interdisciplinary Doctoral Programmes of Biomedicine, Statistics and Environmental Protection.
Single-cycle Master's degree studies of Medicine or Dental medicine are held in Slovenian language and certificate of Slovenian language knowledge on B2 level according to CEFR (The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) is obligatory part of candidate's application.

The Informative Days for the studies at our faculty, where the candidates can obtain further information on programmes of Medicine and Dental medicine will be held on February 15th, 2019 at 10:00. and 15:00 and on February 16th, 2019 at 10:00 in the Grand Lecture Hall (Korytkova ulica 2). Informative days will be held in Slovenian language.

Study Exchange possibilities at UL Faculty of Medicine
UL Faculty of Medicine offers the exchange students of Medicine and Dental Medicine the possibility to spend one semester or the entire academic year as an exchange student in Ljubljana. Most of the exchange students come to Ljubljana within the established exchange programmes: ERASMUS+, CEEPUS, bilateral agreements but on the basis of free places, addionally limited number places for freemovers is available.
Erasmus+ students for study exchange are accepted during the academic year and have to be officially nominated by their home universities with which the UL Faculty of Medicine has a valid Erasmus+ bilateral agreement. The deadlines for application for academic year 2019/2020 are: May 15th for the exchanges starting form the first semester and November 15th for the exchanges starting in the second semester. Erasmus+ placement students can be accepted specifically during the summer months (July – September) and during the academic year only if there are available places left.

Short-term visists of the students normally run through the CEEPUS programme or on the basis of bilateral agreements. Students have to apply through the CEEPUS programme or bilateral agreements (https://eng.cmepius.si/students/).
Every year in February the UL Faculty of Medicine open a call for grants for mobility of medical students with Slovenian backgrounds with or without Slovene citizenship who would like to spend a semester as an exchange student at UL Faculty of Medicine.
